How Bar Packages
Work at The Waverly
Uptown Hospitality Group, the team behind Bodega, Uptown Social, Share House, and By The Way, is the exclusive provider of all bar services at The Waverly. Outside bar service is not permitted.
Packages are organized into three categories: beer, wine, and liquor. Each category has three tiers (Standard, Premium, and Luxury) priced per person, per hour. Choose one package from each category. Bar service has a minimum of three hours, and substitutions to any of the listed packages are not permitted.

Can we bring our own alcohol?
No. Uptown Hospitality Group is the exclusive provider of all bar services at The Waverly, and outside bar service is not permitted.
Can we hire an outside bartender?
No. All bar services, including bartending, are provided exclusively by Uptown Hospitality Group. Bartenders are billed at $50 per hour per bartender.
How much do wedding bar packages cost?
Packages are priced per person, per hour, by category and tier. Beer is $2 (Standard), $3 (Premium), or $4 (Luxury). Wine is $3, $4, or $5. Liquor is $6, $8, or $10. Bar service has a minimum of three hours. Bartenders are $50 per hour each, and a 15% service fee applies to the beverage total. Your total depends on your selections, guest count, and hours, so contact our team for a quote for your event.
How many bartenders are required?
One bartender is required for every 50 guests, at $50 per hour per bartender.
Are mixers and glassware included?
Yes. All bar packages include glassware, sodas, juices, mixers, and garnishes, plus up to two physical bar setups. The full lists are in "What's Included in Your Bar Package?" above.
Can we customize our drink selections?
You choose your selections within each package. The number you can choose depends on your tier (for example, Choose 2 for Standard beer, or Choose 1 white and 1 red for Standard wine). Substitutions to the listed packages are not permitted.
Can we add a signature cocktail?
One basic cocktail is included with packages, depending on the ingredients available in the package you choose. Additional cocktails, or cocktails that need extra ingredients, are quoted as necessary.
Is gratuity included?
Gratuity is not included and is at the discretion of the client.
How long does bar service last?
Bar service has a minimum of three hours. Your venue rental includes five hours of event time, and events end no later than 2:00 a.m. Contact our event team about additional time.
